I've taken some classes in the past, though I'm afraid I have little in the way of... practical experience.

Explain what you mean by 'some' classes. Are we talking a few one-off ones? Or childhood lessons? It'll let me know what to expect when we start.

I took about two months worth of self defense classes over a year ago and again a few months after that, as well as some training after Maya's-
