How much education did you get back home?

I was part way through my first year of university at a special school.

What were you studying? Computer science?

Mostly, yeah. I know some law and accounting, too, but it's not as interesting. I liked it better when I was teaching myself electrical engineering.

Self-taught? How did you manage that?

I got bored of everything else. And I had someone check my work over and put it into production for me.

I've made my own DNA-wired computer, inside a cell phone.

No, that's easy. The circuitry was small enough it has to be directed with DNA for synthesis. It's made of organic nanotubes.

And what did that do for the device?

It meant I could fit a full size computer into a cell phone.

You'll be able to impress those around here, the best tech they seem to have is porting and hovering.

2005. We don't even have porting or hovering.

Yet you can make better computers than them already.

It's just me and a few others-- it's not common. Does everything seem very antiquated to you? You must get frustrated.

I get more frustrated by the idiots running around than the tech and at least there's people around that can repair what I brought with me.

You mean your armor? Or something else?

Armor and what I walk around in. I get the feeling that's not normal here either even if their porter gave it to me.

You mean because you have a physical body? I was wondering about that.

Yeah, I do. Makes it a lot easier to blend in. What, you thought I lived in my armor?

No, but having a physical form seems limiting for an AI that advanced. With an internet connection you could probably take over anything you wanted.
