There's a neural interface? Does that wire to you directly since you're an AI?

I guess so. I don't want to try it indiscriminately and do something dangerous by accident, like turn all the traffic lights green.

Yeah it does. Other people can wear the damn thing but it doesn't do much for them if they don't have the right hardware installed.

Have you tried taking some equipment out to a field or something? You could figure out the range of your powers, it can't be infinite.

So it's designed for you. That's amazing. You must be able to receive incredibly sophisticated input that human brains wouldn't be able to handle.

I think it might be easier with electronics I've worked with a lot before, too. But I didn't come with anything, so I have to build up a familiarity... I'll end up in a field for testing eventually.

Not just for me, but it's hardly common tech. I should send you some of the input I get next time I'm out in the field.

Is the tech all that different here?

It's weird. The wiring is all different. I think they went somewhere else in their course of development over the past couple decades, but I need to take out some books to find out.

We must feel archaic to you. How do you put up with it? You're probably generating all of your text strings to me instantaneously, aren't you?

So far. I haven't been here long, but I was planning on looking around later.

Yeah. I'm getting used to that, too. They could be lying about anything and you'd have no way to check up on them.

Yeah, it's too easy to lie or hide your powers here. I think the government is the only organization with any sort of database on what we can all do.
