That's one thing I don't know about. I haven't had a reason to look into it.
[ But she might be checking up registration information for imPorts that want to attend university classes. ]

I'll have to contact their admissions committees individually, probably. At least one of them will have to let me test in.

I was part way through my first year of university at a special school.

Mostly, yeah. I know some law and accounting, too, but it's not as interesting. I liked it better when I was teaching myself electrical engineering.

I got bored of everything else. And I had someone check my work over and put it into production for me.

Curious and I can't hire or refer you if I don't know what you can do.

[ All right. Well. That's reason enough-- he has to take some chances. ]
I've made my own DNA-wired computer, inside a cell phone.

DNA-wired? So only you could access it?

No, that's easy. The circuitry was small enough it has to be directed with DNA for synthesis. It's made of organic nanotubes.

It meant I could fit a full size computer into a cell phone.

You'll be able to impress those around here, the best tech they seem to have is porting and hovering.
What year are you from?

2005. We don't even have porting or hovering.

It's just me and a few others-- it's not common. Does everything seem very antiquated to you? You must get frustrated.

I get more frustrated by the idiots running around than the tech and at least there's people around that can repair what I brought with me.

Armor and what I walk around in. I get the feeling that's not normal here either even if their porter gave it to me.
